UNUSED ILLUSTRATION FOR ‘NIGHT STAIRS’

It’s been very fun working on this seamless pattern design for Erin Kelly’s new novel, The Night Stairs, in collaboration with my friends from Dutch Uncle and designer Lucy Scholes and publisher Hodder & Stoughton. 

Unfortunately the illustration hasn’t been used for the final book cover, but here’s a glimpse in the whole process. I hope I’ll have the chance to illustrate more book covers in the future, I loved doing it and it’s such a great way to bring together two of my passions - illustration and reading.
