UNUSED ILLUSTRATION FOR ‘NIGHT STAIRS’

It was a real pleasure to work on a seamless pattern design for Erin Kelly’s novel The Night Stairs, in collaboration with my friends at Dutch Uncle, designer Lucy Scholes, and publisher Hodder & Stoughton.

Although the illustration wasn’t used for the final book cover, I wanted to share a glimpse into the process. I truly loved working on this project, and I hope to have the opportunity to illustrate more book covers in the future — it’s a wonderful way to bring together two of my passions: illustration and reading.
