‘STEAUA FĂRĂ NUME’ THEATER POSTER

Hand painted poster illustration I made a while ago for “Steaua fără nume” ( The Star Without a Name ) a play by Romanian writer Mihail Sebastian. Although the play wasn’t staged anymore in the end, I decided to share the poster anyways, as I’m pretty fond of it. I loved the play, I started reading it just to get some hints and visual queues for the poster but ended up being drawn into it and being completely charmed. So I tried to put all the influences, symbols and plot points in this almost abstract composition.
